They are selling shares at $44 bucks. I am curious if anyone is doing it. I agree with their mission so i am ok with it being a loss, but curiuos if anyone actually looked at it as an investment.

I think it is almost 100% guaranteed to be "throwing money away" rather than an investment. Go to Vegas, or any casino, or bet on football games, all of which provide better odds of making some money and having a little fun doing it!

Just subscribe to their streaming service if you believe in their mission. Even if your money doesn't vanish it definitely won't make you wealthy.

I'm a high volume television movie producer. I am currently working on a minimum guarantee from them on a project and I think they are tapping into an underserved market. However, I would not put money into their stock.

Young Washington may do very well and give them a boost after it comes out. It looks promising and has Kelsey Grammer, Ben Kingsley, and Andy Serkis in it. I think they're maybe starting to make a name for themselves and are developing an ability to attract bigger name talent, but that's outsider looking in.
