So auto insurance is quite high when you have a few cars

I've seen these ads on YouTube and apps where you can cut out the middleman and save lots on auto insurance

Tempted to check it out I also don't want to be scammed

What's your take on these apps and commercials talking about saving money on insurance?

I did this on one service and was bombarded by insurance calls. After I finally got this services "list" of insurance I reviewed these quotes and most were not applicable. The pre-questions were very general and don't really give you what you actually need. For example, one of the quotes had low limits and didn't factor in previous claims record so when I went through the process the cost went up drastically. The lesson here is you need to shop around every time your terms come up. Find 3-4 companies and go through them directly and most times for me the cost were cheaper than my current insurance renewal.

This is my experience and maybe results differ. But I'm open to other folks suggestions if there's a better way.

You mean the ones where they say the agent commission is more than 50% of the premium on auto insurance? Those adds? Yeah, total scam/click bait.
