That is good news. I will say we tend to not need as many refunds with HEB over Kroger. But if they screw things up we just put in another free delivery with boost for the next day or so.

Not curbside related, but my wife is a sales manager for a pet specialty company that is trying to find an appropriate contact at HEB to discuss the product she represents. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?

As may have mentioned, they really need to do a better job of/be more conscientious when selecting meat or produce.

Otherwise, I've had pretty good experiences with HEB curbside. I tend to use curbside when I'm in a hurry. But when I need produce or meat, I might place my entire grocery order for pick up at 2 and then come to the store myself at 1:30 and shop for my meat and produce then go pick up my order.

If I do decide to place an order for produce or meat, I will check it before I leave. That way I can immediately return anything that doesn't meet my expectations.

I don't know if you shared this thread with the big Butts, but shopping was much better today. Only saw one big red cart and it was in the frozen section, which has bigger aisles. Props to op if you got this done.

There was still a lot of stocking going on at 1030, but one issue at a time.

i noticed when i was adding items to my alexi shopping list for HEB, it started to put them in my amazon cart and checked a few items and ordered from amazon for free same day delivery? Mini coke and wheaties were 2 of the items that were about 10% cheaper. Are you seeing this as a threat more?

Dude is running a curbside department, not running pricing strategy for all of HEB.

Also, you pay for "free same day delivery" from Amazon as well with your annual membership. If you use it enough it's obviously worth it, but you do pay.

I think the bigger story is if you wanted Alexa to add to an HEB shopping list and it automatically put them in an Amazon cart instead…

i know, but my thought was overall it will impact their curbside business and didn't really pay attention to amazon grocery at all. He is a leader has to be a discussion point.

It drives me nuts that I can't remove items once the order is submitted. We can add but not remove.

I'm late to this post and haven't read other comments, sorry if this has already been discussed - just count my comment as another reason to make this change, lol!

In store shoppers should have regular shopping carts and shop like all other customers. Stop with the giant tall carts. I don't know the impacts of this but i'm positive its the way. Forget about packing in bags until you are out of the main store section. Shoppers should focus on shopping. This would make the experience for in store customers better.

Taylor, do you ever walk outside and watch how your Favor drivers behave?

Those guys have a tendency to get out of their cars and congregate, getting loud and blocking drivers. Plus, it's a little creepy for female customers.

Our HEB had an outside break area for employees that they had to remove because the Favor drivers would hang out there and freak out the customers. But now they just hang in the parking lot. It's not too bad but it's definitely something HEB should monitor.

I've tried to figure this out, but is there a way to create a favorites list in the app? We have some staples we buy almost every week, and I'd prefer just to go through my list and add those to an active order.

We use curbside quite a bit BUT the one thing we despise is the bagging...so many plastic bags. And usually its one item in one single bag, why?

We have asked for paper, made notes, comments etc but it never works. There needs to be a paper or plastic bag option. Its such a waste.

This is the primary reason I won't use it. Too many plastic bags. Give me an option to have it bagged in my reusable bags that you come get from my car when I arrive. I'd rather wait for that than deal with forty new plastic bags.

hey those bags are great for lining small trashcans and dog walking

hey where I am plastic bags don't even exist. Paper all the way so instead I get a dozen of those. One item in a bag usually means it's held at a different temp.
