There was a thread a few weeks/months ago either here or on the general board. There was discussion about homeowners and car insurance and I dont recall the exact conversation but it was either a life hack or work around type discussion that had something to do with potential savings on insurance that can be exploited to combat the insane premiums and price increases seen across the industry as a whole the last few years.

I apologize as that's pretty vague but does anyone recall what thread that was or this overall discussion? It had some very good ideas and discussion points and for the life of me I cannot find the thread to review

Maybe you just mean bundling it all with one company to get bundle discounts?

I went with a 2% deductible on the roof and that made a big difference. I just increased the amount I keep in my house emergency repairs account to accommodate it.
