I'm behind and not feeling very inspired this year. What are some good gifts y'all have gotten or given this year from business relationships?

All my firm ever gets in a crap load of food and sweets. But some of it is good. And branded/marketing coffee mugs I throw in the trash.

My old firm used to get the kids in the firm to do an image/coloring contest. We'd pick a "winner" and put that on a card. We took all the money we could have spent on crappy gifts and give it all to charity "in their honor."

I got a high value gift card from my surveyor to De Baca and I found that to be awesome and very unexpected. Excited to check it out. Possibly something similar to this could be an option

One of our vendors sent us 50 dozen Delia's Tamales all the way up here to Northwest CO. It was much appreciated.

I've received from suppliers:

A ham
Wine and liquor (don't drink, easy re-gift)
A gourmet basket (how are we still doing this in 2025)
A donation to St. Jude's (the best)

One supplier did come by with a cooler of beer to talk shop and shoot the **** with us. I thought that was a cool idea.

We gave out cheesecakes from Laura's Cheesecake in Mt Pleasant, TX. You can ship them. However, we are local so we picked them up and delivered ourselves.

I gave the owner of Laura's Cheesecake steaks from 6666 Ranch.

I've given smoked meats from Bear Creek Smokehouse out of Marshall before.

We receive every year a Greenberg smoked turkey.

$400 for customer corn hole boards.
Those were big hits.
The gave to a select few clients portable monitors for lap tops.
