I need a new health insurance broker for a small group plan (10 employees). Preferably someone in San Antonio area, but anyone that I can actually have a direct line to. I would even use a larger nationwide something if they are at least robust enough to function.
Years ago we had one broker who initially got us set up with BCBS and used this for years but then he sold to "Health Markets" and they were useless. We moved to a broker who found us MVP Plans via TPA Exchange and they have been nothing short of a nightmare. They took months to get all my employees set up on their "portal", have failed to add/remove employees correctly, and then this past week apparently our whole group is showing as "terminated". The best I have received is an email back saying "it's being fixed" but cannot reach a person. The broker is nice enough and seems to be trying to help us, but I feel she is in over her head.
Any names or companies with personal experience appreciated.
