I filed back in early feb. This is the first time I owe anything in as long as I can remember, so not sure of the process.
I don't remember if I selected some sort of auto payment from my bank or not through turbotax.. All I remember is I intentionally chose to not pay back then, instead opting to wait until now.

Anyone familiar with turbotax and how do I find out if I chose an autopayment option?
When I log in it just says I owe (all of ~$800) I don't see any link to pay or indication it will be auto drafted.

Good question. I thought the answer was easy and logged into TT to find my proof of payment, but I can't find it anywhere on the TT site. There's only the record of the fee I paid TT to compile my taxes and file my return. I know I scheduled the payment for today. It's recorded in my checkbook register.

As I look at this, it makes me realize the TT site is trash. All kinds of links and pop-up windows to buy other Intuit products, but nothing that supports simple customer service questions like the one you asked. I've noticed the degradation in the TT site over the years. Just getting more clunky and constantly pestering me to "upgrade" my TT package to a more expensive option. I'm ready for a new tax prep package, one that is simpler and more efficient. I just haven't invested the time to find a better option.

oh.. I feel dumb.. I checked my return earlier by clicking the link in TT account, and did not see it.

But I always save my returns in dropbox. When I open that one, it has a cover page and it's literally at the very top of this first page. It has the date, routing, acct. number with amount, so pretty cut and dry.

So for whatever reason, when clicking a download link from your account to see returns, it doesn't include this cover summary page. How convenient!

IRS has like a 3% CC fee. unless you are somehow paying turbo tax as a 3rd party, you lose paying with a CC.

FreeTaxUSA is a much better service than TurboTax.

It's the IRS's free filing service, but you have to know what you're doing as they don't give you prompts, just the instructions for each schedule.
