+1 for youtube TV. Did it a bunch of years ago (ten?) and never looked back.
I had to get DirectTV for a while because I moved to a very rural location with crappy internet (and very spotty cell service). Along came Starlink and I immediately went back. Now we have fiber at the house. Plus the ability to watch on your phone, tablet or wherever is a huge plus.
For TV I have an internet connection and YouTubeTV that I cancel each year after the CFB national championship game ends. Then get YouTubeTV again in late August
Otherwise I rotate Netflix, Apple TV...etc. We always have Prime because it comes with Amazon
Tmobile internet plus youtube tv. You can get your bill down with spectrum if you just call and talk to them for an hour or so. You have to reject your first 9 offers and be willing to actually cancel. I don't do business with companies who operate like that. Tmobile will let you test if it works for 30 days before you pay.
Yeah, I've been dealing with the same thing with Spectrum, so I also ended up switching to T-Mobile internet and YouTube TV. It's been way simpler so far.
I actually had to call the TMobile phone number once to sort something out during setup and it was way less painful than I expected. Honestly just having a setup that doesn't feel like a hassle every few months is worth it to me.
We tried T-Mobile internet but my wife works from home and had an issue with it not allowing her VPN. So that was a non-starter. We have Xfinity, bonus for them is if you have home internet you can get cell phones for like $60 for two lines.
YouTubeTV is good, but just gotten so damn expensive. Think I'm to the point of just doing the Disney/ESPN unlimited bundle and then the local space city sports monthly package for baseball season.
I remember when all these streaming options were supposed to save money.
