Thanks, I guess it was wishful thinking on my part.

Coach Bond-White was on the radio and she said Kayla Wells has been recovering from a shoulder injury.

I really would love to know what's going on with Morris and Green. Mostly bc I'm impatient and don't want to think the worst. Lol

First half looked like a hangover from Baton Rouge. Thankfully, MSU was just incredibly awful. Excellent second half and nice to see the old Kayla we have missed for most of the season. If she continues to play like that, the continued absence of Morris for unexplained reasons will be less of an impact, but an impact nevertheless.

I don't disagree on our slow starts. But great teams sometimes deal with that, too, especially coming off an emotional game. Wilson mentioned that in post-game and then noted we got the job done. We looked dominating in the second half.

It reminds me Tom Landry in several seasons kind of breathed a sigh of relief after the first loss because it reduced the wrong kind of stress once that occurred. I think a loss improved listening. And we saw the results against State!

It does look like our starters are still playing 30-32 + minutes. Is that ideal? I'm not a coach; I truly don't know.

Gary will likely always use a short bench in close games. The one thing that TAMU does for most part I'm not blow people out against average to better than average competition. Would love to see a lot more of the bench yesterday especially after the fourth quarter media time out. Mix them in with the starters and see what they can do in system. Pitts Green and Morris will get their minutes when fully healthy and also have logged in playing time and understand the plays better.

It's conditioning and they earned their minutes and it's Gary Blair.

The only question is whether the other players need game playing time to develop that they're missing out on. But that is earned in practice. Clearly we are likely to see three bench players regularly once Z and Morris are fully healthy.
