Sometimes I tire of all the negative Nancy's during the course of the games. If you have ever been on a team of any sorts whether it be athletics or even band competition, you will know that amatuer athletes are not going to be perfect 100 percent of the time. My goodness, these athletes are going to make mistakes, sometimes physically and sometimes mentally. If you have ever tried to coach athletes, you will know that you could have warned your athletes and coached a certain technique or phase of the game many many times and that message just evaporates in the heat of the moment of competition and the athletes make one big horrible mistake. If you listen to Jimbo, he always says concentrate on doing your part the next play. Not to remember and fret over last play. Just think of the many different combinations of factors that have to be perfect on offense and defense on both teams for good to happen. I don't agree with those who constantly throw our coaches and players under the bus in any event of adversity that happens during a game. Why do the negative Nancy's not wait until the game is over and done with to bemoan and gritch about a player or the coach. I am an avid Aggie fan who wants the Aggies to win every game. But I know that just isn't possible. Start looking for the good of the players and coaches. I think you will be much happier. Also, I think some people need to grow up and mature and manage their expectations that college athletes have limitations as every other person in the world. I find sportsmanship is more important than throwing our coaches and players under the bus every chance they don't perform at 110% efficiency!
Rant over.
