This is going to be good matchup. Georgia plays good defense.
The Dawgs point guard, Gabby Connally from SA, had 30+ points vs us at Reed two years ago.
We held her down pretty good last year in Athens.

Is Georgia a taller team or something? We seem to be struggling to score against their length or maybe it's the lack of spacing I'm not sure.

We just cannot finish shots. Offensively we are struggling to find who will lead us. Lots of silly passes again today. Come on Ags. Turn it around

Didn't get Pitts one shot while she was in and Ciera can't hit her layups (again)!
Team was not able to capitalize with Georgia's center on the bench for most of the first half. Little things like that just kill this team.

I will say it's not lack of effort. It's just dumb mistakes and almost like there's a lid on our basket.
I will say I have never seen Kayla Wells be called with so many offensive fouls in my life. Just no control. Let us pray. Lol

On a positive note, we didn't play well and the game is tied at halftime.
Is this a record for tricky tacky fouls? No one can get into a rhythm.
That 2011 team was special. It's good to see the ladies. They played tenacious defense and I loved how Adams could stretch out the defense and play outside and inside.
As long as we're talking about being tied at 22 a piece at halftime, there were also 22 fouls called in the first half!
Hopefully the right adjustments are made at halftime and the girls can get on a scoring run.

5 Georgia players have 2 fouls so getting some of them in foul trouble could be big.

We had season tickets (floor seats) for many years including the magic 2011 Championship season. Many wonderful memories and some gut wrenching losses. Folks may have forgotten we barely lost to Baylor 3 times in regular season and Big 22 championship game. But by golly we beat them when it really counted. Adams put the hammer on Griner that day!
