One of our more impressive victories in a season of impressive victories.

That was a neck-and-neck game for 3 1/2 quarters with neither team leading by more than 6 until that last minute.

Ags win. Kudos to the Ags for staying in the game. When it looked like the Vols were starting to build their lead in the third the Ags stucked in there and then led by 2 after the third.

Played much better in the fourth by making shots and FTs. Pitts and Nixon took over in the fourth. Ags beat their 8 seeded team.

Pitts and Nixon with 30 of our 48 second half points. We made 25 free throws to their 15 attempts. We had 18 points off turnovers to their 4. Another really good 13 minutes by McKinzie Green. Pitts also with 2 boards and a steal. And a big defensive rebound by Anna in the first half.

Now that the game is over, I have to say that this is one of the most complete games we've played from start to finish. GB and Nixon managed that game to perfection.

Isn't it great that this team does not have to depend on one or two players to carry them. Every time you play a new game, it could be someone new stepping up to be hot hand or pick up some key minutes to give the starters a rest.

Great win. Another game where we play close and then put it away in the last 5 minutes.

I love our mid-range game. It's a really unusual game nowadays, but perfect for women's basketball. I thought it was also one of Johnson's better games given how tall and relatively athletic the UT posts were.

Pitts previous high in points here was 14 twice. In 3 conference games she didn't score any points and today she gets 15 in the second half. Still can't believe the 3 pointer she made on the inbounds play.

I agree with Coach Landers in the ESPN studio....going to be interested to see the top 16 reveal from the committee becuse although we now have 8 top 25 wins, we have no top 10 wins...I think UK was no. 10 when we beat them, but they aren't now. Not sure a DI team with a 19-1 record has ever been rated as low as we are in The Net ranknngs. Coaches poll has us at 5 and AP at 6 and Creme a 2 seed indicating top 8.

Just keep winning and it will take care of itself. There's no denying that we have an impressive resume. But Carolyn Peck said we are being punished for filling our schedule and playing games against local opponents when other teams couldn't travel. She said had GB not played those games we would have a much higher ranking. However, she believes we are a 1 seed and thinks it will work it's way out. I hope she's right.

Plus, I think the chemistry of this team is the best since 2012

Really really like the make up of this team. The role players are making a difference when needed.
