Really executed well in the 4th quarter, but give credit to Gary for the coaching move to put Zaay Green in.

We have a TEAM in every sense of the word! No more wilting in the 4th qtr with 5
players playing almost the whole game. Coach Blair pushing buttons with 8-9 players
as needed at various times during the game!

Today, Wilson and Wells carried the scoring load for 3 quarters with Pitts also hitting some shots!
Then starting the 4th qtr. with only a 5 point lead, Zae hits 6 points, Wells adds a couple more and Nixon takes over. Nothing like keeping the ball in the hands of a 92% free throw shooter.

We have had several games now where we have been out rebounded.and not very many points in the paint from our bigs.....BUT the guards took over and carried the scoring load to victory.

We uusually start slow on O, but our D has been pretty consistent for 4 qtrs. most games. Poise and depth and some good coachig moves have taken us to 20-1!

Tough game coming up next, at Alabama on Thursday.

Alabama was 7 seed in last week's bracketology and went 2-0 on the week.

Our only loss was to LSU at their place. We started slow, got 13 points behind, and spent the rest of the game playing catch up....which we did to send it to OT. It takes lot of energy to come from behind like that on the road!
Despite all that, we lost the game by only making 6 of 13 free throws////never should have gone to OT.

We are a very good team. Don't think right now, there is a great team out there.....a lot of good and very good teams. If we get on a roll, and go all the way to win a NC, we would likely have to beat several; no.1 seeds and end up being a great team. Heck, we may be a no. 1 seed.

Bama has a 3 headed monster in Copeland, Lewis and Walker....and they are playing at home.
It will be a tough game.
