Huh? NC St. isnt the 1 overall. They were a surprise 1 seed.

Why is this a slap in the face? We're in a very favorable bracket and every game will be played in San Antonio.

Would you feel better if we were a #1 and NC State was a #2? Same bracket regardless.

I think mainly bc they announced NCState as the overall 1 seed which would make us the perceived weakest 2 seed. Just seems a bit off.

The only real advantage for the 1 is the difference between a 4 and a 3. The women's bracket is a little less susceptible to upsets so it's more common for the top four to make the S16 iirc.

Delaying the 1 matchup to the E8 game (if then) can work in our favor since we aren't the 1. We need to not fold early. Can you imagine this team with Chennedy, though??? Wow.
