But the men they buy those courts and store them for the games.
An interesting fact I didn't know. But that seems to further the disparity.

And yes, I'm being 100% petty and looking for stuff. Which is what happens when you eff up as badly as the NCAA has this week.
No because normally the first two round are played on home courts of the first 16 seeds. They tried postering the court with stickers but players where slipping on them

Also I'm fine with them trying to market the men's side. Men's tourney funds everything else the ncaa does so they have to cash in on it

First World problems. spare me.... children are dying in Africa because they have to drink muddy contaminated water, and we're crying over athletes only having yoga mats, barbells, their own exercise room and a basketball court to keep them in shape.

no wonder the world hates America.

The announcers of tonight's Aggie game were using the phrase "March Madness". I've watched plenty of tournament games with the Aggie Women in the past and never noticed it's absence, going back At least as far as our championship nine years ago. Is the author of this article correct?

Where to start here... the NCAA should be called out for the things they control. If they want to be the governing body for college athletics then that's the territory it comes with. We all know the men's tournament is the one that brings in the most money... there are probably ways to generate more eyes on the women's game but that's a different conversation.

Ultimately, if you're gonna play the "children are dying in Africa" card then we just shouldn't have discussions over anything because none of it matters, in a relativistic sense. Why even have college sports? That funding could go elsewhere

Or we could start having common sense.... and also appreciate what we do have. nah, that would never work.

Even noted misogynist Clay Travis thinks you're wrong here.

Or, give the mens SEC payout from March Madness to the girls since they actually play basketball regularly in late March.

The NCAA is under direct control of the NCAA member institution presidents. THEY tilt left hard and chose this outcome. Blaming the NCAA is merely scapegoating.

I don't get it.

Why do basketball players need heavy weightlifting equipment in the middle of a tournament? Don't they need to rest and avoid injuries?

Do women basketball players even do weightlifting during the season? I don't think NBA players do a lot of it, at least the ones who play. Basketball itself is plenty of exercise and wear and tear.
