I noticed the same thing. We look much faster as a team.

Defense is much more in your face and will create more turnovers or more fouls depending honestly on what the officiating crew allows. Our bigs make bunny shots near the basket if based upon this game alone where we didn't always finish from low post in the past

My worry was post play coming into this season and if we could adjust to the single three point line for men's and women's. I think we will be better at both that I expected.

As previous posters mentioned we are quicker and faster for most part at every position and depth is not as bad of drop off. I know Blair use a shortened bench in big games but there are many more players that can play longer minutes.

The transfers each of them should be in the rotation for minutes. We make passes faster and get into low post better. And like I said before yesterday we made the low posts shots

We do look quicker and faster overall. Seem to have good depth and some interchangeable parts.

Loved seeing some 6'3 players who could jump. rebound. run the court and make close in shots!

We did not run a bunch of Coach Blair's set plays, if any. One reason we looked faster. There was not the
hesitation and looking over to the bench and coach barking out the play. Seemed like better passing and ball movement and looking to drive the ball to the basket with dump off passes when the D rotated on our driver/shooter.

I think Nixon and Wells will be starters going forward. After that, hard to say. ,,,need yo have one of the 6'3 girls in there...so, Malone, Patty or Roby. A lot of choices for the other two and plenty of subs for the starters.

Maybe this will be the year we press full court more! I think it is likely that Syd Carter is the reason for
the more intense D.

I can see how and why picked 2nd in SEC. 23rd in nation is low for this team. I think USC has most of their players back plus another good recruiting class, so no.1 ranking in SEC is not a surprise.

Yes, everyone played according to the box score. Perry, listed as 6'6", played 9 minutes, had 5 rebounds and was 1/2 from the field for 2 points.
