Although 2-3, one of the losses came to South Carolina and another a 2 point loss to Oklahoma. They were Summit League Champs last year and made the tournament as an 11 seed. They lost last night to Northwestern after being up at the end of the 3rd. Their two wins are against Drake and whatever the heck Briar Cliff is. We should out rebound them which should lead to us to easier scores and a lot of transition points. Let's hope the rims are nicer to us tonight!

Frustration

Seems like on defense our guards keep getting switched on their bigs and they are scoring easy baskets while we have to try and shoot from outside to score.

Yes. This is happening too frequently. Our bigs are in foul trouble already. If we could score in transition we'd be up by 10, but we just cannot seem to get in an offensive rhythm when in transition.

That was ugly. We are out of control. None of our post girls have any finesse. Hardly any of our girls look like they want to be there. I'm not sure how we expect to hit any shots drifting and leaning every time we elevate to shoot.

An aside, I'm not sure how any of our girls expect to play with three feet of extensions whipping around.

South Dakota isn't giving us open looks, crashes the boards, and gets back on defense. Hopefully they run out of gas, because they are better than the team we showed up with tonight.

Where's the skilled, patient, fun-to-watch team I saw the first couple of games and where did these girls come from?
