Very slow start, poor defensive effort.

The team really looks out of sync with poor effort on both ends of the floor.
It was another new starting lineup, but that should be no excuse. TCUs pressure is getting to us bc we don't have a guard that can get it up the court confidently.

It irritates the crap out of me that they don't bring the ball up the middle of the court when they are being pressured full court.

Really poor start by our starters in the first. Wells struggling with her shot. Subs came in and gave us some energy and closed the gap a bit.
Malone has a lot of potential but many times it seems that she just can't keep a handle on the ball. Roby has to get more aggressive and really call for the ball down low and then finish with it. The boxing out has been horrendous and on the offensive end it has been pretty much one and done.
We don't box out. I don't think we've ever been great at that. Prime example. First possession of the second quarter for TCU - 3 offensive rebounds which led to a made 3.
Do these girls know how to switch or get around a screen?
This is awful. Just being outplayed today. I hate to say it but we are not a very good team right now. As good as I thought we were vs DePaul, at this point in time I was very wrong.

Absolutely getting a first class beat down. I don't understand why Gary doesn't make them slow down and actually run some plays where there is some ball movement.

Wow…not getting the game but just looked at the box score. Ags shooting 28% while giving up 50% shooting to TCU. From reading all the comments, sounds like we're getting beat down in all phases of the game. Very disappointing.

I honestly don't even know what I just watched. Awful shot selection, one and done offensive sets. TCU is killing us on the offensive boards. They are just playing with more heart and with a sense of urgency. They were ready for this matchup. We were not prepared (at least that what it seems like).

They are giving TCU too many 2nd and 3rd chance points because they are not getting defensive rebounds. Also the defense is getting lost and giving up open 3's along with multiple wide open back door cuts. Offensively they are coming down and putting up shots without making any passes or maybe one or at most two passes in any given offensive set. This is a broken team that doesn't seem to have an offensive identity. Are we a 3 point shooting team? Are we an offensive set team? Do we have an offensive post present (Roby had some good finishes). Not a lot of leadership on the floor right now.
I see Hoppie and Roby didn't start; I don't really understand that. Roby is probably best passer out of the post at A&M in a while. I like Hoppie in the backcourt with Nixon, but Blair likes to play Green too much for me.

I really hate to say this in Gary's last year, but this is embarrassing. Can understand tu whipping us but TCU!? I believe they have a losing record too. We can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn, and like has already been mentioned our defense sucks!! I am afraid if they keep playing like this, it is going to take a lot more than candy from Gary to get people to attend home games!
