I think it's time to decide on a starting lineup so that players can get into their roles. Different lineups for every game is certainly not helping our chemistry or rhythm. It's not an excuse whatsoever for today's abysmal play, but it doesn't help things imo.

A&M should consider that chick at TCU as a replacement because A&M has alot more talent than TCU and it doesn't look like it

I believe I was the only one saying that and they could have at least fouled someone else to see if they might actually miss a few more than Heard did.

I think Gary has said who he would like his replacement to be. One of his staff I think. Could he possibly be letting this person do more of the coaching, etc. as sort of an interview for the job?

I've heard Coach Blair mention many of times that Hoppie was our best on-ball defender. So why on earth was she not starting this game?
As someone said earlier, Pitts should come off the bench and if she's not hitting threes, then she's basically not going to give much else.
We just have to get better defensively overall. That first half was inexcusable by players and coaches.

This will be my first year to pay much attention to tennis since I graduated and I'm excited for it, but there is still time until then and we haven't even started SEC play to defend our conference championship.

I would okay with him letting KBW stand-in some so we can see what the differences might be. I noticed him standing over by coach Brown a lot during the game. I think it's bc we were getting hammered defensively and what we were running wasn't working.

But, I do agree. Hoppie is our best on ball defender AND she makes things happen offensively. Pitts is not hitting her shots lately. Just in a slump . Jordan and Q should be sharing time getting the ball up the court. EVERYONE else get back and set up the offense. Start inside; get Roby going - MAKE them defend her more. When our shots aren't falling it's just hard to win. Nixon missed two wide open layups and missed 3 free throws in a row. That just doesn't normally happen. Bad day all around.

I don't care how the coaching gets done. I do care we lost and looked lost. I cannot begin to fathom how Blair teams just seem to crack so easily if the other side interferes with our zen. I would think his teachings on resilience would take hold.

Maybe the extra time to let the bench sort itself out this year is making everyone uncomfortable. Maybe we do have issues running plays that get open looks for shooters given our inside out game is still getting established. Perhaps we just lack the physical advantage against better teams that we are used to.

But I think the coaches have this and we will see all of this addressed. The whole staff succeeds and fails as a team of coaches leading a corps of upperclassmen coaching on the floor. Jordan may have to get a little more insistent. Kayla might have to say a thing or two. Destiny might need to ingest the coaching and defend better. But every single person can communicate better and can stay centered and can uplift everyone else. We can win.

I always get a kick out of coaches after losses say "I thought we had good practices before this game"
What is a good practice? a lot of energy? Focus was good? all the team was there? the team seemed to
understand the game plan for the next opponent?

The Questions to be asked are.....
1. How was the scout> Which coach did it?
2. Was the team up for the opponent? TCU had a bad record before our game.
3. Where the adjustments made soon enough in the game? We switched to a zond D
to start the second half. TCU was driving the ball right past our players in the first half.
Still TCU extended the lead to 29 points in the 3rd qtr. Then our full court pressure reduced the lead
to 8 points in the 4th before all the fouls and TCU free throws to end the game.We never figured out how to deny the ball on the baseline in bounds to the TCU best foul shooter.
