Maybe we could offer Becky Hammond a contract she can't refuse? Imagine the immediate recruiting success we could have. She's just wasting her time in the Spurs organization as an assistant.

She might not consider us an upgrade. Unless we paid her way more than she's making now.

It would be an exciting hire for sure. I'm getting sort of apathetic about our WBB program and I hate that. Of course I will also support and hope they do well. I feel like WBB was a beacon for womens athletics at TAMU for the last 10 or so years. Now they kind of just blend into all the other occasionally good sports teams. That sounds really harsh. Just how I currently feel. Really hoping we catch lightning in a bottle this year so GB can retire happy.

WBB is one of our finest programs without a doubt. We were SEC champs last year, peaked at #2 nationally, something like 25-3, and a 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. We lost 3 players to the 36 player WNBA draft from that team.

This should be somewhat of a rebuild this year, but we all have high expectations. For the most part, we have upheld those expectations this year. However, TCU was a real shocker and stinker. Time to get back on track.

We need a new coach though. Blair is retiring so what better time then to go all out. No up and coming, we need a big name.

I agree. Last year was a good year. I want to be great. Not just occasionally good. Can we please repeat 2011 more often?

This years net rankings were just released. Currently, Texas is #5 and we are #25. Ugh. Annoying.
