Half ass offensive effort and a don't give a damn defensive effort.
I just feel they aren't coached well on defense. Every team we play exploits our weaknesses and we don't seem to know how to make changes during the game.

Meanwhile, we are losing badly to a team that just lost their star player with an interim coach and a very shallow bench. I don't see many positives so far coming out of this game.

No. We want the team to win. Or compete. Or show some sort of desire to send GB out in style. The bottom line is, we are realistic and just call it like we see it. Doesn't mean we don't support the team.
We aren't a good team. We are poorly coached. And we are now 1-7 in conference. This is on the head coach.
I guess you slept through the last five years Rip Van Winkle…go back to sleep.Houstonag said:
Not just the coach but the administration. A classic case where management is not minding the store. Any good administration would have seen the writing on the wall 5 years ago. It was clear when Vic left for Miss. State and had a very good team his first year and I believe beat the Ags. Blair just shows up. He has been coasting around BCS for years with his cheer leader friends at the clip of 1 million a year. Wow what a deal.

Agree, I want the team be competitive and win some games. Right now they are just playing very poorly and that is on the coaches and the players. They very well may miss the tournament and be left sitting at home, which hope is not what they expected at the beginning of the season and it certainly wasn't what I expected.
Vic left right after we won a National Championship. They where not very good until year 3, we beat them first two years then he beat us in year 3.Houstonag said:

I can understand a discussion on should Gary have left last year but to say he should have been fired the year he won a title to hire Vic, cause Gary wasn't going to retire, doesn't seem like mgt not minding the store.

I'm just dumbfounded at the awful playing. I want to think positive - I REALLY REALLY do. This is the first time in my 10 years of being a season ticket holder that I am disappointed in my team. I just don't understand WTF is going on with the team!
The poster said management was not minding the store and that was clear when Vic left, so you tell me what that means. Then said Vic beat, which isn't true. Only way I understand that post is we should, have fired Gary and hired Vic then. What do you think it meant?aggiedrjdub said:BQ_90 said:Vic left right after we won a National Championship. I don't believe anyone said that? I missed it I'd they did.
You have retiring coach, you have two new assistants that came in knowing that pretty much one year deal.Kbeauty63 said:fitzwatema said:

That is a legit question, clearly it's tough for a head coach to maintain after you lose assistants.aggiedrjdub said:BQ_90 said:The poster said management was not minding the store and that was clear when Vic left, so you tell me what that means. Ok - perhaps? Idk. I think it's clear GB, Vic, and team were a force and it does seem like a lot of our mojo left when Vic went elsewhere. I don't know how you justify firing GB in 2011, 2012-14, but I do think our national championship opportunities left with Vic. Maybe it wasn't solely Vic and it wasn't solely GB, but the tandem duo were a great pair (along with johnie etc)

During this period (2012 to present), we've had 4 athletic directors, 3 football coaches, 3 MBB coaches. Until this year wbb has made the ncaa every year. So the notion that Gary was mailing it in and mgt wasn't minding the store doesn't hold any weight.
that was 10 years ago how long were Bob Starkey and Amy Wright hereaggiedrjdub said:
