a very disappointing first quarter

I'm at work, just checked the score. Wholly crap! What is happening?

This is a mess! No other way to describe it. It appears the team is only going thru the motions and are ready to end this season.

The fact that we just made Vanderbilt look like South Carolina that quarter is baffling.
Also in the presser players said they packed for nine days but it looks like our team overlooked Vanderbilt for whatever reason.

They are eating our lunch!!

What a pathetic effort. What in the hell has happened to our program? We have got to be one of the worst programs in America. We have got to make a tremendous hire and change this thing around. Get rid of everybody that even pumps up the balls.

This is just speculation (bc I know Greg will call me out lol), but I have a feeling the team knows these coaches are gone and their effort reflects that. Just my opinion.

What a horrible testimonial to Gary Blairs career.

To get a rebound, a player needs to be between their opponent and the basket.
I don't think we know what a box out even means

We still have a Hall of Fame coach who rescued the program when he started at A&M.

Regardless---one would think the team would play their hearts out for their retiring coach!

Well that's fine, but there's no excuse for this. I like Gary Blair and he's had a great career but let's get real. This is unacceptable. My goodness they're not worth a plane ride to come to Nashville. If they don't wanna play then stay at home.

Honestly, every team we play smells blood in the water. We are a shell of our former selves. Something isn't right. Players - If you admire coach Blair as your coach as much as you profess, why are we playing like this? I refuse to believe there is this much of a gap in talent. Are we close to as talented as South Carolina? No. We don't have the depth. Should we beat Vanderbilt? Uh. Yes.

I feel like something has been brewing all season. We will never know what it is or was, but it's sad to see.

The difference is rebounding and field goal percentage.

Thought the charging call on Hoppie was bogus; the Vandy player jumped into her. We have now scored double digit points in 9 consecutive quarters.

I understand pressing full court but once they beat it we need to find a man to guard

I will say, after watching the second and third quarters, the Vanderbilt coach has changed how they played us the first time we played them. She made adjustments.

I know she is hurt and can't move but why is she playing so much when she can't move enough to be effective and certainly can't move enough to defend other guards. McKinzie Green should have been our starter since this became the case.

I agree with this and she doesn't seem to have confidence in her shot
I admire her for trying to Fight through adversity but it's hindered us to a point. It also doesn't help that Green can't shoot the three ball well and teams scout that

We literally cannot even run an inbounds play. This is crazy!!!
