well what will be crazy is some will have to go back if they can, I don't see how all of them can "upgrade" schools from where they are at. There isn't enough room at these schools to take all these portal transfers.

HIGHLY UNDERRATED PLAYER ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL. Knockdown shooter and FRUSTRATING on-ball defender. Heard reports they had to tell her to "chill" in practice in Columbia because she was going to hard defensively in practice.. If Dawn's telling you to chill you're on another level. If I had to give my crystal ball prediction, she'll head back "home" and team up with Jayda Curry in the backcourt @ Cal for her last season.

You can try to go back to the school you entered the portal from but if they got that scholarship filled and or don't want you back in their program you can; remain enrolled but forfeit your scholarship taking the athlete off student-athlete, transfer by academic merit to somewhere and hope you can walk on, or go back home. I recall when the REAL idea of the transfer portal was introduced, coaches across multiple collegiate sports came out and said something along the lines of, "I don't think this is going to produce the outcome you're hoping for." Here we are 2/3 years in and 1000 girls in the portal, certain schools have overhauled half their rosters and some can just add an experienced piece here and there to keep their machine moving without having to go into a full rebuild. Now, I do think there is a large pocket of girls in the portal who are waiting for semesters to end to announce their commitments publicly. I'm sure some coaches will use this fact to strategically to get some high school recruits t nibble on the hook before they bring in half a lineup of girls who will play considerable minutes. The dark side of the transfer portal will rear its ugly head, there are gonna be some, "whatever happened to so and so" cautionary tales down the line that will bring the transfer portal frenzy down a little. It's college free agency after all, and much like in the pros, a test of free agency could mean retirement. I know I'm rambling, but I think the likening of the transfer portal to free agency could see a rise of programs hiring coaches w/ front office experience or just legitimate experience with W/NBA/MLB/NFL FO free agency. I think you know where I'm going with this, Mr. Taylor does have such experience and even though he's not on the Texas Board of Regents payroll as a coach of TAMUWBB, isn't he kind of... by default, just a thought.

She's giving the upperclassmen that will no longer be on the roster the opportunity to complete their degree at A&M w/ scholarship. So if they decide not to enter the portal we won't know anything for certain until the official roster is available online. Everything in between is just speculation. Mckinzie Green and Kenyal Perry being relieved from the team was just my speculation.
