I understand why there might be an expectation that Kim would have a comment regarding the Griner situation BUT it is her right to make or not make a comment.

Maybe Kim and Griner had a falling out at some point. Maybe Kim believes that she should focus on LSU. Maybe she simply does not want to be drug long term into the situation. Whatever the reason, she should receive respect for her decision.

I think Mulk is not happy with how she was portrayed in BG's tell-all book---hence "no bueno"!

Mulkey did make a comment that she hopes Griner is released soon. What more is expected? Mulkey is not an expert on Russia diplomacy.

Haven't read the book so I guess I don't know how Griner portrayed her.

I still am not a Kim Mulkey fan but fair is fair.

She has proven to be a successful coach. Cannot deny that. Blair's problem was that he was not effective overall. Sure he won a few times like the NC and a season or two but with TAMU resources he failed to bring in the new big time recruits. He also lost control of the team. The last year was a big style show. All it did was cost us 1 million dollars and a bad memory of a season.
