I was at the game tonight and very impressed with what I saw. Bowles, Barker, and Hylton are ballers who can flat out play. They're only going to get better. I really liked our intensity throughout the game both defending and attacking the basket. Some of the best in your face defense I've seen us play in a long time. Love that we're running a more motion style offense. Love that we're pushing tempo. Of course we had our rough spots. That's to be expected, but the future is bright. Looking forward to seeing how our young talent develops over the course of the season along with seeing our returning players continue to improve. Gig Em!!

Army is probably worse than Corpus Christi but they have some film to dissect so it should be interesting to see how the young girls adapt to being scouted. That being said their tallest girl is 6'2" and she doesn't even start so it should be a feed the bigs type of game. This should be a game where we run away early and at least double them up now that the nerves are gone. The real test is next Thursday and I'll be at Cameron Indoor, Duke looks REALLY GOOD AND REALLY DEEP so far.
