I agree wholeheartedly. I think Malone, Patty, KayKay, Bowles and others have really stepped up. Very impressed with them the last 2 games. Honestly, ignorantly, I had my doubts about Jada, but damn, she is that player right now. Her effort and leadership are inspiring to watch. She has the moves. She finishes; she passes; she hustles!! I don't think we got her the ball enough or in the right spots vs Purdue, but she is my starting 5 now if I were putting a team together. She's just that valuable as a leader (along with Patty).
The problem the coaches might run into is when all of the talent starts returning from their injuries and they expect to play; how do you give them playing time over those that have stepped up and solidified more a role? I think the only player that shouldn't be worried is Barker. The others will really have to step it up and out practice, out hustle and out play their counter parts.
