Good to see these Aggies back! I believe it was Lynn Hickey's last season. 23-8 (11-3) in the SWC. Lisa Branch was an awesome point guard! I'm thinking this team made it to the Sweet 16 that year.

Not really looking forward to the game today, but I remember when Texas used to bring a lot of fans to this game in CS. I think South Carolina and Tennessee and certainly LSU bring more visitor fans to Reed even though Austin is close.

I counted at least 4 turnovers trying to inbound the ball. Taylor needs to call some time outs to give the players a rest with so few players playing. Ware took herself out of the game with her fouls.

The general consensus is yes, but we all know the AD will not buy out her contract with 2 years remaining. Basically free $2million for the next two years as we watch the program slowly slink into the depths of hell.

Not fun to watch. But our players were overmatched and still kept fighting even to being very tired. Still think Joni needs to find her fight. Giving up isn't the right thing to do.

Proud of our team's fight, today! They gave it all they had! Talent is not equal between the two teams, especially with Coulibaly out, but we didn't back down! That's all you can really ask at this point.

How is she soo bad at recruiting? I figured she'd be able to build an allstar team here cherry-picking from Team USA, but it's been the exact opposite of what I imagined in recruiting. I thought the issue would only be coaching but nope.

Tbh I'm sad for the program, the fans, the players AND the coaches. I don't think this is how anyone believed it would turn out. In my mind, I believe Joni has been more focused on team USA than she has been in recruiting for Texas A&M. She's a great person, but this has clearly not been a good fit for her or her staff.

I know there are alot of things at play with contracts and PR, whatever. With the powers that be could at least give us some hope for those that still keep up with the program. I used to watch or attend all the games. Been 2 years since I've cared enough to even know our assistant coaches

Yes - that ship has sailed; plus, he's getting a bit long in the tooth to rebuild a program again. I like the Mississippi State coach. I'd have to do more research, but he seems to be doing something special there.

I'm not sure I'd call him a t-sip. He works for that organization and clearly wants to do well at his job. When he was interviewed about the football game, he said he was going to keep his comments to himself but that it would be hard not to cheer for his Alma Mater.

Even still, he will not be coaching at Texas A&M. Having said that, I would gladly like to be proven wrong.
