Their press is killing us! Barker is such a tough player for them. She played for Joni at Georgia. When Joni left UGA, Barker left to play for Alabama which is her home state. Wish we had a player like her…or 3 or 4 lol

Bama's Zaay Green (Duncanville) played a year under Gary but we were so guard heavy that year, she and Alexis Morris (LSU) weren't getting enough minutes. Both transferred out after 1 season.

But the same thing has happened in year 1 and 3. Injuries and horrible roster management. Year two was better but many of our athletes left her. They don't want to fight for her. That's what's happening here.

I was told all off season that Joni preferred only 11 players on the roster… posters got mad when I said it would not turn out good

I'm just concerned that we don't even do the basics well. Blocking out is a foreign concept for this team. 3-4 times in the last minute two players were guarding the same player leaving someone wide open. This has happened all season so it's not new. Something is just off with this program. A decision has been made for next year, OR they've had a team meeting and realize this season is a bust. Idk. But this is tragic. Sadly.
