I doubt she has any money for NIL. Who'd wanna donate for these results. At this point the revenue sharing needs to be diverted to soccer if we're going to keep her

imo, the day will come that we learn that Joni has some debilitating mental condition (think bk) that is not being disclosed. Hope that I am wrong about that, but thats what it looks like to me.

Absolutely nothing. If anything, I think it would make a positive statement about the Texas A&M AD not tolerating this type of inexcusably bad coaching.

If Bucky wasn't doing what he's doing on the men's side, the conversation would be different. She had 8 players last season. 2 returned, and 1-Lauren Ware, the STAR under the basket, is injured. They showed hope early on.
The 40 point loss to Vandy was an embarrassment, but when you look at their roster, they have 2 transfers. The rest are players that have grown together.
I didn't look at tu's roster, so have no comparison there.
As a person, Joni is amazing. I wouldn't mind seeing 1 more year to pull in some more size. We are small, and we pulled from the portal with likely little to no NIL help. Her HS recruiting will be key.

She hasn't earned another year. The only thing keeping her here now is her contract. Being a good person should have no direct impact on her tenure. That's the bare minimum. The reality is, nobody wants to play for her. The roster is in absolute chaos. You are seeing players quit on her in real time ON the floor during games.

Not a single person is questioning that. I have zero doubt that she's a great individual.
But that doesn't change the painful fact that her SEC record is 12-40, and she makes $1.5M a year (and that doesn't even include her husband's salary).
There's absolutely zero excuse for what we're witnessing, given the resources she has available to her.

Vic Schaefer at tu has nearly double the amount of conference wins than Joni. Never mind Joni has played 31 more SEC games.

$3.35M would be the number after this season. $1.7M after the 2026-27 season a year from now.
We are in year 4 of the 6 year deal that she signed with Ross Bjork. The contract ends in April 2028.
