I have a client that is closing on a new home and was exploring this route. Currently looking at 10 year ARM. How do rates in this space differ from traditional options?

I don't have one but usually they offer very good rates. The bank wants the office business and wealth management

Give my boy Gene an email.

gene.zink@bbva.com

+1 (972) 897-4120

I've used him twice and have been very shoot with his rate and his ability to get things done.

Did one through BBVA but since they just got bought by PNC I don't know if they are still doing them. Suntrust does a lot.

Rates typically don't differ much. The advantage for a Physician loan is no PMI with 100-90% financing and I think student loans don't have as much of an impact in the ability to get a loan. Usually advantageous for new physicians. If those don't interest you then there might be better options to look at, jumbo loans are fairly competitive if you shop around.

I did a Jumbo 7 yrs ago with UFCU credit. 2.5%, 20% down Doc 30 yr which was much better than a conventional 30 yr.

I believe they still do these doc loans but not sure about terms.
