Unless he is working through some red flags on his accounts with them... Time to find someone else.

No at all files are created equal, and some have more back and forth then others to get the initial pre-approval nailed down. But, there should of course be communication on what the issues might be. So, assuming your son has been responsive to what ever the LO is asking for or about then it should have been wrapped up one way or the other.

If I get an application in the evening I can pre-approve the next unless self employed. I would need tax returns for those borrowers

He is a few years out of college but does well and has a combo of W-2 and 1099's.

He is pushing for an answer by the end of the week.

Normally takes me just a few hours.
