Make one of them chainsaw sculptures out of the trunk of the tree. Instead of a bear with a hawk, just make it a giant middle finger.

Like this, but instead of 2020 just say 'Dallas.'

Guys, he's doing a tear down in university park, probably building a $3-5mm house.

Can we find him the company that moved the huge oaks in Aggie Park and get him a new tree in there PRONTO?!

UP bro... better be south of Northwest Highway.

Like I said... this may be more flex than anything. He's about to be dropping 60-100k a year in property taxes. May be able to afford bringing in the century oak.

Someone asked where I was building. Didn't put the location in the OP. Only reason I did mention location was the give perspective on the uppity people I'm dealing with.

I know. Just giving you a hard time, sorta.

I would do what other suggested and harvest the tree. Have an awesome live edge table made from it and maybe a coffee table or desk for a good story. Tell neighbors they're welcome to what's left.

We moved to a farm that was canopy to canopy with red oaks. Our approach was to tell our 7 and 9 year old about the rules and possible death. It worked for us.

We use the **** out of liability waivers for anyone that comes to our place. There are trees, snakes, livestock, water and I don't want some ******* trying to sue me if their kids gets crushed by a horse or cattle. You may look into that as well from the sounds of your neighbors.

Everyone can **** off. It's your house and your kids. You decide your level of risk tolerance. You make the decision for you.

Honestly, you should get on nextdoor and put your OP there for the LOLZ.
