Possibly moving to CS soon. Would be looking for 2500+ sq ft, zoned to CSHS & 1-5 acres that allows RV barn/storage. Text if you have a neighbor selling soon! No realtors please. Two eight one 387 eightone eightone

Would you consider a rental?
We have a rental coming available on 2 acres zoned to CSHS, 3/3/2. $2000/month. Two horses allowed.
On a busy road and barn needs work, but let me know if you need to rent until you find something.
Two-eight-one-seven-five-three-five-two-one-one.
Current tenant relocating for a job, will be out 8/31.

Just curious if you need CSHS for the highschool aspect or if you have younger kids. There's a few good properties in Duck Haven (South College Station off Wellborn) that are meeting your profile. Albeit they are zoned to Green Prairie Elementary.

We ended up choosing in Pebble Creek Elementary zoned area.

A property just turned on Buckingham for north of $1.2mm.

You might find someone on Buckingham, Piccadilly, or Wimbledon if you throw that sort of coin around. Drop a few letters in the mail might not hurt.

Probably worthwhile to post this on the Aggieland board as well.

Greens Prairie Elementary is top notch.

What you need is Saddle Creek, Indian Lakes, Brentwood, Tuscany Trace, but get your wallet out.

And there is zero guarantee your kid will be zoned to CSHS when the time comes, we are building another high school pretty soon. And the CSISD school board does not have a great history, what you want to do is live where Martindale lives to be sure your kids go to CSHS.

Out of those that you listed, only Indian Lakes is zoned to CSHS. I just learned this about a month ago. I was under the impression that the East side of Wellborn was CSHS, but that is not the case.

And it's ridiculous that they are talking about another high school.

Btw, I'm looking for the same thing as the OP if anyone has anything.

If you have young kids, there's no point worrying about high schools. It will probably change before they get there.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Our last child at home is in high school, so we may rent until she's out if we can't find the unicorn we're looking for!

Would be nice if CSHS included the acreage neighborhoods mentioned above off Wellborn.

What's wrong with Green's Prairie Elementary? It's a phenomenal school, from everything I've seen and heard (my kids aren't that age yet but that's where we're zoned)

Honestly nothing! We didn't have a successful offer accepted when we were looking - this was in the Duck Haven.

It was a great school and I would have jumped at the chance to go there. But we ended up putting an offer on another house that was zoned to Pebble Creek which is where we are now.

Why do people keep spreading the rumor that CSISD "is planning another high school soon?"

Nantucket has large lots and is (currently) zoned to CSHS. Sending letters or checking CAD for owners of empty lots might be worth your time.

Pretty sure it was discussed by the school board during the prior rezoning group grope. To include the fact that the property had already been purchased at that time.

They own several tracts that could eventually be schools, but none of them have been designated for a future high school

Is one of them near Wellborn, west side of the tracks? Think that's where they said it would be.

They already announced that's where the CTE and Agricultural Center is going.
