how much are fees usually?

I think its a realtor 5% fee which I imagine comes off the total sales price not the profit.

what are the other fees

good thing is the appraissal was accepted for much more than I paid for the home back in 2020. so even with this economy the home sold for $25K more than I paid for it 32 months ago

Realtor fees plus about a half a percent is a good rule of thumb in Texas.

When I clicked on this I thought your house sale had closed but it seems that's not the case. Your Realtor should be able to do a net sheet for you based on the closing costs negotiated in the contract.

hopefully it's just an additional .5 percent on top of the realtor fees.

the buyer might get some of the furniture as well.

frankly I am shocked that the home sold in 3 days for asking price in this economy and market.

These are questions for your realtor, not a messageboard that knows zero details of the transaction. Why would you put your house on the market without knowing what it was going to cost you? Every contract can be different as to who pays for what, so there is literally no way anyone here could give you the answer to this question.

This poster is so far in the "no way shape form or fashion of being a legitimate poster" it's almost frightening how people on this board continue to entertain the schtick. Absolutely nothing LMCane has posted is real. It's the same song and dance of every Barnes sock ever made.

I truly wonder how someone holds a successful job (which maybe they don't) while managing multiple fake personas online. Psychopath maybe?
