My son will be working a college internship in New Braunfels next summer (2024). Does anyone have a lead on any short term lease (3 months) properties in the area? Doesn't have to be anything fancy just something simple/clean for between Late May thru early August.

You might look in San Marcos if you can't find anything. They have the opposite pattern since the town empties out of the students at Texas State. Yes it a commute but not crazy bad.

I would try to get a close to NB as possible and San Marcos is a good suggestion. Seguin is close but I would imagine super boring for a kid his age. Tourist traffic between Austin and SA during the summer and especially around NB can be a beat down compared to the rest of the year.

My BIL has Big Chief Vacation Properties. Most of it is higher end short term rentals, but they have a few condos on there.
