Anybody got a decent idea of $/sq ft for building a custom home in chambers county?

Short answer, say, $200 PSF, but that's really just a wild guess. It's kind of like asking what does a vehicle cost? There are vehicles that cost $18,000 brand new today and there are vehicles that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars brand new today. Nobody can really tell you a good number without plans and finishes desired.

Some things to think about:

1. Do you want 1,000 SF or 5,000?
2. Do you want 2 bathrooms or 5.5?
3. GE appliances or Thermador?
4. Quartz or Quartzite?
5. RTA or custom cabinets?
6. LVP floors or white oak? [I had a brokerage client do his entire 6,000 SF home in Carrara marble. He spent $60,000 just on install labor bc he found a really expensive contractor from Arizona Tile (who did amazing work).]
7. 3-0x5-0 windows or more custom sizes? All white or trendy all black? Vinyl or wood? Single or double hung?
8. 6-8 doors or 8-0?
