I ran into a very odd situation at a trial today where I saw an "expert" testimony from an appraiser which was a horrifying violation of just about every USPAP rule there is.
I'm having an issue trying to figure out what to do. If this was just a typical bank transaction or private party, Appraisal, I probably wouldn't report it, but this person is representing themselves as an expert in our field and likely cost somebody a lot of money. It's kind of a complicated story, but I'm trying to figure out what to do in my own mind. Probably better if we take this off-line if you have any opinions so please PM me if you have any idea ideas or want to know anything further
