I have a house that I want to rent out this coming summer and foreseeable future.

Yes, I know I could manage it myself, but realistically, that is going to be too much for my already very full plate.

Are there any reputable rental management companies in the BCS area? Prefer a locally owned one.

If no reputable ones, what are the worst ones to avoid?

Thank you!

I have a friend who self-manages two rental properties in BCS. He might be interested in picking up yours as well. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but his properties have been consistently rented for years with no tenant issues.

I refer my clients to Precision Property. Sarah and Allison are good Ags, great to work with, and I haven't had any clients come back to complain

Gotta be a broker or work under a broker if you aren't the owner.

I too have been looking for a management co. for many years. Hired one 10-12 years ago. That lasted less than two months. They were so bad once I pointed out the multiple issues they did not fight me wanting out of our contract. Just recently I tried again. The one I got several recommendations on I started to visit with students that had used them. Found one student that had a law suit against the management co and was also going after the property owner.
I have come to the conclusion quality property management on a small number of homes can't be bought.
I owned 5 homes on the Southside and am down to two and those two will be sold this spring. I am looking very forward to being out of any business that has any dealings with the City of College Station.
I would encourage you to not only interview the company but interview their tenants.
It is no wonder our tenants have loved us. We have made many life long friends and have attended countless ring dunks and several weddings of our previous tenants.
Good luck. And encourage your tenants to educate themselves on local elections and VOTE.
