I am evaluating moving and restoring an early 1900's farm house in the Burleson County (Caldwell, TX) area. To help make the go or no go decision, I am looking for someone who can do the basic design work (2D and 3D renderings) and help incorporate necessary modifications required to modernize the home. Also need help with evaluating overall cost of the project.

The project itself would be close to Bryan/College Station so I figured an architect around that area may be best, but I am located in The Woodlands, so someone around here could work too. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who specializes in historic restorations or preservations.

Absolutely, I plan on it! I'm really excited about the potential project, just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into before pulling the trigger. The home itself is nothing to write home about, but it has a ton of family memories attached to it, and from what I can tell, a ton of great wood flooring. I'm afraid most everything will have to be replaced or built new, but a lot of wood flooring could be reused. Very likely better to just build something from scratch but that wouldn't be near as fun of a project for me
