Steve Jobs had a daughter that he didn't publicly acknowledge, but he did support her more than Ketch's dad, it sounds like. She recently wrote a book that was excerpted in Vanity Fair.

Ketch should do the same. His awful dad deserves it. Unless Ketch can extort some serious $$ for staying quiet, which I would not blame him one bit for doing.

To me few things are worse than a "man" who disowns a child. If you're the father, you owe your child material support AND emotional help... in short, you owe them a relationship. You owe them part of yourself. Anything less and you're not a man. Dude deserves to be exposed.

The dad thought he could just boink a high school student without bearing any consequences. I have no sympathy for the guy. Take some ****ing responsibility for your actions.

Ketch said he paid 18 years of child support and even a little college. Serious question: what else is the guy supposed to do from a legal standpoint? I realize that ethically he owes more but he did do more than a lot of deadbeats. Especially on the financial support side.

Financially he owned up to the kid. It looks like he paid for Fatboy's college until he flunked out of t.u. I don't have an issue with a parent cutting off the tuition funds after their kid wasted it.

His legal obligation is one thing. I don't have a problem with that. The issue is that it sounds like the guy is a complete bag of dicks. You just don't tell your offspring that you wish they were aborted, ever.

This all assumes that Ketch's story is all true. I can't imagine that even he would be stupid enough to put this kind of story out if it wasn't largely true. If not, all possible criticism coming his way would be due.

Can you imagine being reunited with the fruit of your loins and see that it is this guy? I suspect he paid for Ketch's gastric buypass surgery too and Ketch failed that as bad as he failed as a t.u. student. I imagine it is tough for such an accomplished man to admit he spawned Ketch.

Sucks if that's true about his dad being an ass, but this is a guy that made his living spewing hate about kids going to rival schools - including that slavery jab at the MS kid - and fluffing recruiting rankings to help the school that asked him to stop paying them for him to attend classes. I wouldn't bash him for the dad stuff, but it's hard to shed too many tears for him.

My initial reaction upon reading it was that it was a way of making the suicide tragedy all about himself.

A lot of people read it as "oh, he's talking about how orangebloods is a family", but look at the reaction on this forum? There are plenty of people who read that and said, "Wow, his dad sucks, I feel bad for Ketch", and I think that was really what he was going for. Ketchum is so narcissistic, he needs all of the attention to be on him, even in the face of a tragedy (which turned out to be a hoax).

Given that this guy paid his child support and paid for FattyMLM to go to texas for a year, and given that he met Fatty soon after the grandkids were born, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a college fund set up somewhere for them.

If his father is Godfrey Sullivan, he came from a family with money, and his parents would have viewed Fatty's mom as a gold digger trying to get her hooks into their son, so I can see where the abortion talk came from. The fact that his father still wishes he had been aborted makes me think he's read some of Fatty's writings.
