We became the first program since the 70's to pull away a coach with an NC on his resume. You hired the coach from UH who's a thin skinned dumbass and has no idea wtf he's doing.

You didn't know there was a Johnny on our team until he played, and neither did anyone. We hired Jimbo Fisher. You hired Tom Herman because that's the best you could do. I'll take my chances on who will end up with the better end of this bargain. Herman's been a coach in this state for 14 years. Jimbo's been here for 8 months, and he's already kicking Herman's head in for talent. Gee...I wonder how this is gonna turn out?

In their defense they've had to play the likes of ISU, tardo, the imploding baptists, a god-awful Maryland, and perennial jaugernaut KU...it's the big "12" after all...you know, one true champion.

Our schedule THIS year has ZkSU, Bama and Clemson.

We don't get to spread them out in the "future".
Next year we have LSU, Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, etc.

Keep pretending we ran away from competition sips, while you prepare for KU and Iowa State.

Texas has finished in the top 25 one time in the last 8 years. (Despite the fact every writer is dying to rank them or proclaim "Texas is Back") And that is playing in the last or next to the last conference in the Power 5 every year. I have noticed the sips live in the past or the future when it comes to football. They are always telling us how great they were or how great they will be. The truth is A&M playing in the toughest conference in football has been the much better football program since joining the SEC. But facts often confuse the sips.

If regularly getting 8 wins in the SEC for $5M a year is mediocrity, then please tell me the equivalent expression for finishing 7-6 with top 5 talent on the roster, making a bowl for the first time in 3 seasons, with wins coming against Baylor, Kansas, and San Jose State and losses to Tech and Maryland (both losing records) all while paying $10M in head coaching salaries (Strong and Herman).

Guess what? You get to do it all again this year as you are still paying the Charlie Strong buyout.

Well I heard that as soon as Bama saw you guys were too scared to play Texas, they jumped all over that.


Yep, we were so scared to schedule a most recently 7-6 in texas team in Herman's first season, but we were ok to schedule a Miami team that went 10-3 in Richt's first season.
