Those dang unencrypted radio frequencies, as reported in the New York Times, kept us out of the playoffs where we belong. We'd be stomping all over Stang and Hoosh!

And Tech would've been a much better team than the lame Tennessee team out there in Ohio tonight.

You failed answer the questions-> why didn't tt check out the equipment before the game? Why didn't the fix the problem? Why didn't they go to more traditional signaling? Looks like critical thinking is not something your boys are familiar with.

The encryption issue was discovered during the Arkansas vs. Texas A&M game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, (home of the Dallas Cowboys) on Sept. 28, and it could have been addressed much sooner. All four power conferences were subsequently notified by the stadium's frequency coordinator, and the conferences then notified select football and athletic department staffers at each of their member schools.
But multiple coaching staffs and athletic directors from across the power conferences said they didn't find out about the encryption issue until this week and were potentially left vulnerable for nearly a month..
In a memo to Big 12 ADs and head coaches sent on Tuesday and obtained by The Athletic, conference executive Scott Draper wrote that following the discovery in September, GSC and frequency experts described the risk of someone accessing the coach-to-helmet communications as "very low." The league informed head equipment managers and, as an interim measure, changed frequencies while a software update from GSC was completed.
"In hindsight, the Conference should have shared this information with each of you," Draper wrote in the memo.

That makes your excuses even lamer, so if all of the conferences only poor ole tt was affected by it? Hmmmm
I've heard no one else mention this as an issue- but I guess everyone else won their games. It is also in black and white that your commissioner said there was no effect on any games, hmmm
You get charging up that lame excuse hill.

It's even more embarrassing when you realize Arkansas was 3-5 in the SEC (tied for 5th) and Tech was 6-3 in the B12 (tied for 2nd).The Hefty Lefty said:Just Saying said:Man, Texas Tech is getting embarrassed!Big 12-0 said:

Garbage time TD makes the score against Arkansas walk-ons look a bit more respectable.

OK, Tech and A&M played teams that finished three places lower in their respective leagues. The difference to me is Tech never led in their game, and it was effectively over in the third quarter, while the Aggies led most of the game and only lost with less than 10 seconds left.Raiderjay said:and USC was 4-5 in the Big10 (Tied for 6th) and A&M was 5-3 in the SEC (tied for 3rd)..........Just Saying said:It's even more embarrassing when you realize Arkansas was 3-5 in the SEC (tied for 5th) and Tech was 6-3 in the B12 (tied for 2nd).The Hefty Lefty said:Just Saying said:Man, Texas Tech is getting embarrassed!Big 12-0 said:

Wait, I thought Texas "beat" ASU? Remember, Texas is still THE TWELVE in everything but conference name only. They still have that TWELVE TOUGHNESS!Just Saying said:The BIG12 goes 0-3 against the SEC in bowl games - now that's embarrassing!Big 12-0 said:

LOL! Thank goodness for your sake that ASU is in the bdf or you would not be able to use "toughness" in the same sentence with the bdf.
we beat a team soundly that almost beat the SEC's shining hope in the playoffs....zb008 said:
Even Vandy would have beat Tech to a pulp this year. The delusion and smell of cow waste are strong in Lubbock.
