THE TWELVE footprint is scattered across all North America time zones, so 11:00 is a fair time for all the schools. Can you imagine having a 7:00 Central time game that might be 5:00 for a west coast team but 8:00 for an east coast team? For the east coast team the game might even carry over into the next day.

Just imagine the pitfall of scheduling THE TWELVE championship for 7:00 central time and BYU plays West Virginia. If the game goes long, it could go past midnight eastern time and BYU could be playing on a Sunday!

JMU and Troy is more exciting than what occupies a time slot at 11am this morning.

Sure, international corporations do it every day- across all US time zones, all European time zones, all Asian time zones, all middle eastern time zones, etc. But I guess they are just smarter than your little US only conundrum.

They play football?

Their own version of football played in front of much larger crowds than you will experience, so yes. Your not very well thought out troll was how supposedly difficult it is to mange events across time zones. My response was it is not difficult at all, as it is done every day.

Your post mentioned "corporations," not football. European football players do not have to deal with the stress of being college students.

It's not about managing events across time zones; it's about the physicality of the game. Exercising in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night are all different experiences. If you have one time zone given the "prime physical peak" time, that's not fair to another team. Plus, we have to accommodate BYU who can't play on Sundays. A late-evening game carries the possibility of crossing over into midnight into Sunday.
