Three SEC teams are in the CFP and one BigXII.

I don't know how the LSU-Houston game will finish, but this whole narrative about a mid-tier SEC team winning the Big 12 isn't playing out well at all.

Entertaining game.

These non CFP bowl games are absolutely meaningless. Draft eligible players opt out, teams are playing without their full coaching staff and their star players if they are not opting out of these bowls altogether. Inter conference games during the season are meaningful and can give you good information as to conference strengths. These bowl games tell you absolutely nothing.

UH is at full staff, LSU sucked this season, has multiple starters sitting out and are giving this 9-3 BIGXII team all they want.

Man, you distinguished gentlemen from the Texss technological college have to be one of the most insecure fanbases the country. Most Aggies are likely rooting for Cougar High over LSU, even though LSU is playing without a head coach and missing tons of starters who opted-out (including their starting QB, which according to Texas Tech, a loss doesn't count if you don't have your starting QB).

Pathetic that a Big-12 powerhouse barely squeaked by a coachless SEC bottom feeder at home.

I never used that as an excuse. I mean, it was a primary reason we lost, but all teams deal with injuries and such during the season, it's no excuse, though.

We finished the regular season with one loss, which the playoff committee thought was good enough for a #4 seeding and a bye. ASU has Scoreboard* on us this year, but that's about all they have. Tech has a Natty to play for, friends.
