This explains why the SEC has so many opt-outs and why the Big-12 tries so hard to validate themselves with meaningless bowl games.

Interesting, then with almost the same number of potential pics why is the BigTen 6-1 in the bowl games vs the SEC 2-5?

Which Big-10 victory is worth a flex?

no flex, just responding to the opinion the reason the SEC is not doing well in bowls is because of their high amount of potential NFL draft pics, which the Big10 has almost the same number of potential draft pics.

3 teams from the SEC still in the CFP, will be down to 2 or 1 by tomorrow but still a good chance for 1 to make it to the championship game....

In all honesty, not sure why you guys think A&M cares that much about the SEC. Mike Slive was a good commissioner and the move was good for A&M, plus it was a lot more fun to watch games in the Swamp, Death Valley, Auburn, or Oxford versus Waco, Lubbock, or Ames. When Greg Sankey became commissioner and brought the sips on board it allowed Texas a unique opportunity to kill their 3rd conference in three decades.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if A&M headed to the Big-10.
It'd give the conference a sizable television market share in the country's premier region. SEC loyalty makes zero sense these days.
