I knew it was getting looked at by a big group - didn't know if it was actually going through or not.
While this would benefit me as a member of the public who would love to play the course, I feel for anyone who bought into the property with the expectation of it being a private haven.
That's always the risk on courses, or a public one that goes under and becomes at best green space.

Where is the info from? Member leak or public knowledge/outlet?
Discussions have been going on for a while. Speculation is a deal has been close. Sounds like it might be a done deal but I haven't seen anything official. Not clubcorp though (or similar type management company). They have been wanting to separate the development from the golf for a while. Not a surprise at all.
Wasn't this always a concern from the beginning since they were using the development funds to fund the golf course?

Trying to get our Club Pro to hook us up out there. Has anyone played it since this thread came up? Is it worth the cost? Looks like a caddie is required.

Still a member and there was never an ownership change. Played last week. Course in great shape overall. Enjoy your time out there. Don't eat too much prior so you can enjoy the stops at #6 and #12.
Not a member but got an invite and played two weekends ago. Course was in great shape and super forgiving off the tee, but much less forgiving if you miss the green. It's definitely a party club and the Jerky Shack on 12 is amazing.
I was 2 over after 11 and on track for my best round ever when a rain delay came in and the jackhammers at the jerky shack led to a quick triple on 12 to derail the round, but it was a blast.

Still a member and it's one of the most fun rounds of golf you will play. Difficulty gets higher as you get closer to the hole so rounds move fast vs ton of rough, water hazards, etc. Very fun design I don't get tired of playing. Also finished the clubhouse last year and it is an amazing spot. Not traditional but more like a nice resort setting. Activity has picked up considerably the last few years post covid and with the completion of the 249 toll road.
Just so people are aware it is the same property but totally new design by Tiger and his team. They did keep the old Blaketree clubhouse as the comfort station on #6 which was a nice touch. I played blaketree back in the day and I remember coming away thinking amazing property but they don't have enough money to maintain it properly.

Yes after the 4th of July weekend: Reopens around beginning of August.
Lucky enough to get an invite to play yesterday. Course is in phenomenal condition. Overall a great experience, super fun place with a very chill vibe. Our caddie was fantastic, without his reads on the greens I would have been in bad shape. We played the Acorn tees, which I think was around 6600 yards, felt like the 4's played really long all day.
Bluejack is an amazing place.
To me, the course itself is great but not the reason why the place is amazing. It's the vibe and the service.
