I live off of 99 and Hardy and saw that a new course is getting built S of 99. Right past the San Jacinto River close to Porter, TX. anyone have any info on who is building it or what the plan is for it? private vs public? Bluejack #2?!

Given the time to find a site, design, build and grow in a golf course I'm not sure I'd make that investment based on the past few months.

What a golf course?
Golf courses are killing it right now. Play is up like 70% over the past few months. Hell you can't find a push cart anywhere.
It's one of the only things that wasn't/isn't shut down and one of the few things you can do safely.
Maybe a different situation for a country club resort type place but at this point I'm not convinced what OP sees is even a golf course.

The Falls has been purchased and is nearly completed renovation, course and facilities. Will be quite the little golf resort.
That is awesome news!DoubleE65 said:

What is the last "New" course to open up in Houston?
Let's not count the Blaketree --> Bluejack conversion.
Newest course that pops to my mind in the Tournament Course at Redstone/GCOH.
There's not been a lot built in the last 20 years in Houston.
