.... and it was borderline erotic. Feel and sound was like nothing I have experienced. Now I just have to go sell a kidney to get a set.

I've never heard of these. Are these supposed to be the. Bee's Knees?

Super-premium Japanese brand. I'm not sure how available they are in the US.

Dream is to get fitted in Japan one day. It's like having a samurai sword custom made for you... Kind of sad that PGA is starting to carry them, but good on them for growing their brand.

If you ever watch Stacked Golf on YouTube, they found a set for $100 at a yard sale recently. The guy knows his clubs and was very excited about it. Don't know how old they were.

I thought the rumor was Tiger's blades were actually stamped out by Miura with either Nike/Titleist logo on em.

Adam Scott definitely uses Miura muscle backs with additional offset.

It's just Japanese forged irons. Not sure what would make em feel any different or special. Steel is steel and just because it's forged doesn't mean it will feel any softer.

I don't know. Buddy had a set of CB forged Miura. Felt like ***** Probably because these didn't have a sweet spot on em.

Golf ETC in Granbury has sold them for years. No clue how good of a job they do fitting them. I just talked to the guy one day when I stopped in to check the used putter rack. Found a perfect condition 8802 forged that day.

There is a YouTube video I watched where they met with and talked to the family that makes these irons. The head honcho showed that the sweet spot on these irons is not dead center middle of the face, but actually slightly towards the heel.

Thought that was interesting.

*****.. No wonder I couldn't hit the sweet spot. Because you know... I hit center every time.

I couldnt really tell you where I was making contact, except for the fact they were going high and straight.

They just felt really solid at contact. Zero vibration, etc.

The Dicks Sporting Goods in Waco has a used set, I hit them in the bay just because, they felt great, the heads were blue, I first thought they were mizuno. $1100 was the price 4-pw

I have some CB57s with Modus 120 shafts -- your description matched my experience.

The feel is amazing, and they are very easy on the hands on mis-hits for a pure forged player's club. The penalty in distance for slight miss hits is substantial, though.

Distance variance is why they are in my garage and not in my bag -- I got tired of hitting solid shots that end up short. When I am on I could drop dimes with them. When slightly off, I really struggled.

They are a pleasure to hit on the range, though.

I have Mizuno MP4's and the sweet spot is probably half a dime to a dime towards the heel. Found that out on a trackman which was showing added ball speed and distance when hitting it there instead of dead center.

Maybe it's a forged muscle back blade thing?
