Another LIV event is here and once again I haven't seen it promoted anywhere on social media or TV.

Only reason I actually knew it was coming up this time was because of Masters being next week.

Course is Crooked Cat at Orange County National. Seems to be a links inspired design.

Interested as always to see a new course. For the play I'm interested to see how the top guys look 1 week out from Augusta, specifically Cam and DJ.

I think I read Kaymer had to back out for injury and maybe 1 more. Andy Ogeltree gets another shot to finish DAL.

If they can't get a good crowd in central Florida then that will be a massive failure by the marketing and operations folks.

The only marketing I've seen is the corny comic book-esque graphics each team posted on their socials.

It's a very poor attempt at marketing to the "young crowd" but just makes the league look silly.

The NFL pull it off because a large portion of their fans are kids that look up to the athletes like they're super heroes. LIV? Not so much.

I think they spent all their money on facebook/instagram ads. I have seen ENDLESS ads talking about LIV not being dead, and how it's way better from golf "magazines" and other clear targeted ads. It's been so annoying this week. I just do not care one bit. The drama seems fake, and I hardly watch golf on TV outside the majors.

i haven't seen anything liv on instagram or twitter. Maybe the algorithm just hasn't found me yet.

LIV's problem this year is all their big names they have signed have been lost in the leaderboard to a bunch of nobody's. Didn't even know they had another exhibition this weekend and currently C. Koepka is T2 while DJ, Cam Smith, P Reed, and Dechambeau not in the hunt. PGA elevated events this year have had a lot of their brand names winning which helps their product to the casual fan.

Definitely the case for the first couple events, but so far it's the first 9 holes of the weekend. Might be a bit premature.

Meanwhile, over at the Valero which is midway through round 2, it's not exactly a heater at the top. The big names that are playing this weekend aren't any closer to it.

Yeah Bryson and Phil have sucked for well over a year now.

After watching for about 30 min today, I like how many shots they show, but it gets a bit hectic with the pace in which they switch from player to player sometimes. I think they have the right idea though.

The scoreboard on the side is very distracting. It reminds me of a NASCAR or F1 race with how much it's moving around from player to player, and the bright team logos are too much imo.

The scorecard view is awful on the LIV golf.

Along with Brooks and several others who have been playing poorly.

Brooks won the last LIV individual event in the fall. He had knee surgery around this time last year. Wasn't a shocker that it took him a bit to round into form.

First 2 weekends were stinkers but seems some of the top names playing better after round 1.

Brooks, Westwood, Stenson, DJ, Wolff, Reed all in the top 10.

Great final round leaderboard and start today. Brooks began up 3, now cut to 2.

Mito, Munoz, Reid, Wolff and more chasing not far behind..

Brooks wins. First guy to win multiple times on LIV. A lot of big names played well leading in to Augusta. Can't wait for next weekend.
