I think the $17 advanced booking fee at MP should go towards your round if you show up. Not a fan of it.

The old calendar, the weekend before the Master's, was the time to be a Houston area golf fan. To go watch all of our favorite players in person then see them on tv at THE tournament of the year, it was special and got ruined by corporate greed.

In 2000, I spent all day Friday at the SHO @ TPC The Woodlands, followed by a game a Enron Field and then a Billy Joe Shaver concert at The Continental Club.

Took a few days to recover from that.

Yeah they said yesterday that they'll overseed with the goal of mimicking the rye grass conditions that are similar to Augusta.

They like the spot where they're at because it situated a couple weeks after the Players and two weeks before Masters with the thinking that if players want a tune up this will be the week.
